The overall Rep 5 program, its background, capabilities, getting started with registration and so on, is described in the:-
Introductory Manual (or PDF version)
Rep 5 has five major components: RepGrid, RepSocio, RepServe, RepNet and RepScript.
RepGrid manages the elicitation and analysis of conceptual represenations in a particular domain as a matrix of elements of experience in that domain, constructs distinguishing those elements, and ratings placing the elements along the dimensions of the construct. RepGrid is described in:
RepGrid Manual (or PDF version)
RepSocio extends RepGrid by providing tools to manage sets of related grids, enabling them to be combined, compared, and commonality in conceptual representations to be extracted. RepSocio is described in:
RepSocio Manual (or PDF version)
RepServe is a user-scriptable web server enabling Rep 5 functionality to be made available through web browsers.
WebGrid is a set of scrips for RepServe that exposes most RepGrid functionality on the World Wide Web enabling remote data collection studies to be managed world-wide.
RepServe and WebGrid are described in:
RepServe/WebGrid Manual (or PDF version)
RepNet is a generic visual language tool supporting conceptual representations in visual form. It is also used for the output of analyses from RepGrid and RepSocio. RepNet is described in:
RepNet Manual (or PDF version)
RepScript is an object-oriented, general-purpose computer language that provides an application programming language for RepGrid, RepServe and RepNet. It makes Rep 5 a powerful open-architecture system, customizable and extensible by its users. RepScript is described in:
